"I am a 36-year-old woman with atopic dermatitis, and I want to tell you how your Propolis & Probiotics Rescue Cream may have just changed my entire life."
This is how a message began, sent to us by our customer in January 2026, during the coldest time of winter. Atopic dermatitis is one of the most challenging skin conditions, and our customer Pirita's story confirms this. If you have atopic dermatitis, this story might sound all too familiar but also offers hope.
When atopic dermatitis dictates one's entire life
Pirita's eczema symptoms began in early childhood. Atopic dermatitis worsened significantly at the age of seven, followed by various allergies, one by one. Her entire teenage years were spent dealing with skin that, at its worst, was a weeping wound and blister. An asthma diagnosis brought more restrictions, and her diet eventually narrowed down to just a few safe options.
In the early 2000s, the treatment of atopic dermatitis was not what it is today. Treatments were burdensome, and results were often temporary. Over the years, the skin became a continuous project and something that dictated the rhythm of daily life, activities, and energy levels. Failed treatments, the appearance of her skin, and the constant unpredictability of symptoms also led to depression.

Over a hundred trials without lasting relief
As an adult, however, Pirita decided to take responsibility for her skin into her own hands. She began to delve into what factors affect atopic dermatitis, what the skin needs, and how inflammation could be soothed.
Over the years, she tested over a hundred different creams. Some brought relief for a week, sometimes two. Then the effectiveness waned, and the disappointment was immense. Three years ago, Pirita made a bold decision to stop using cortisone and tacrolimus creams. With medicated creams, her skin had never reached a point where they could be used only occasionally as directed. Pirita also wondered if she had become hypersensitive to cortisone, as the symptoms always seemed to return even stronger.
For the past year, Pirita's condition had remained consistently difficult. No major collapses, but not a single good day either. Her face, neck, and scalp were constantly red and flaky, at times bleeding.
Pirita had grown accustomed to and accepted the appearance of her skin, but one never gets used to constant pain.
Itching, stinging, and a tight feeling stole her sleep. Even a short outdoor activity in freezing temperatures could cause two days of pain. Swimming pool visits with the children were agonizing when water hit her face. Exercise meant stinging caused by sweat. The poor condition of her skin affected everything: energy levels, mood, and the smoothness of daily life.
The condition of her skin was not just a cosmetic issue. It was a quality of life issue.
A cautious experiment after a year of hesitation
Propolis & Probiotics Rescue Cream had been on Pirita's mind for a long time. Still, the decision to try it was not easy. Honey, which is close to the propolis contained in the cream, causes her allergic reactions, and previous experiences with tea tree oil and shea butter had also raised uncertainties.
To Pirita, trying a new product felt like a risk, but intuition pushed her forward:
"However, I wanted to live a normal daily life and decided that this method also had to be tried, and if the allergic symptoms were less severe than the benefit I received, then it would be worth it."
Pirita began by testing the cream on a small, healthy area of skin on her forearm. Then carefully on her forehead, as far away from her airways as possible, and gradually on other areas of her skin.
There was no allergic reaction!
First signs of change
During the first week, the flaking of the skin began to decrease. The redness also calmed down slightly, and the itching was no longer constant.
On day nine, something small but significant happened: daily extra moisturising was missed, and yet the skin didn't feel tight, and it still felt soft even in the evening.
After two weeks, there was still redness, and the skin around her eyes still showed surface dryness, especially after a day spent in an air-conditioned office. But the itching, tight feeling, and pain were gone.
Mornings no longer had to start with immediate skin creaming, and eating did not cause a tight feeling around her mouth. She could go out for exercise without having to schedule time to soothe her skin.
These seemingly small things significantly changed Pirita's daily life.
A significant turning point
Two weeks after starting to use the cream, Pirita sat in the sauna, but her skin didn't sting. Not in the sauna, not in the shower, and not afterward. Her skin remained soft, and it didn't flake or feel tender.
Pirita's partner also noted that in their 8.5 years together, there had never been a moment when Pirita hadn't run straight from the sauna to moisturise her skin.
This time, she didn't have to run. It was a small moment, but symbolic. The first time in a long time that her skin sensations didn't dictate the entire evening.
Sometimes change isn't reflected in perfectly flawless skin. Sometimes it's reflected in no longer having to brace for pain. That daily life can be a little lighter for a moment.
And sometimes change can begin with not having to rush out of the sauna prematurely.
